My new memoir Perfect Bound launches one week today and the advance press has been fantastic. Extracts have been serialised in The Daily Mail while The Times Magazine devoted five-pages to an interview with me about. hte. upcoming. publication. On Thursday July 25, 2024, at 9am, I am going to be in conversation with Louise Court at an event organised by the fabulous Conduit Club. Louise is a dear friend and magazine maven - she was the longest-serving editor of British Cosmopolitan. We’ll be talking about the events described in my memoir, what it means to write in such a personal and revealing way - and also about the glory days of glossy magazines. I’m expecting quite a few former colleagues from that world will be in the audience, so you can expect us both to be challenged during the Q&A and, perhaps, a few trade secrets revealed.
